Galaxy Investment Group attended the largest Real Estate Conference in Bulgaria – BalRec 2019, which was held on 7.11.2019 at Sofia Event Center. The event annually gathers leading investors, financial institutions, consultants and project managers to share current industry trends.

Representatives of Galaxy Investment Group took part in three of the panels, where they discussed major topics in the field of real estate.

Zhivko Ivanov, Asset Management Director, talked about the development of the hotel market and challenges for the hotels in Bulgaria in the panel “Urban and Holiday Hotels - Trends 2019”.

Martin Dragoev, Director Investment and Sales, participated in discussion panel about “Office market 2019. Perspectives and growth potential of the IT/BPO industry.” The debate focused on business expansion, labour market challenges and demand for modern office space.

The panel "Industrial Projects and Economics: Perspectives, Competitiveness and Challenges" was attended by Stefan Karpuzov, Investment manager at Galaxy Investment Group. The potential of industrial areas and clusters, demand and supply of modern logistics areas, as well as the customers and their requirements were discussed. 

Some of the main topics during the event were the development of the retail sector, opportunities for the retail industry in the next year, trends in the residential projects development, as well as digitalization in the real estate market.
