1. How would you comment market development of industrial and logistics space in 2016?
Bulgaria and Plovdiv in particular are positioned as the preferred location for industrial investors. In the past year the steady trend of maintaining the interest of many companies to the city has continued. Large global manufacturers from different sectors of industry continue to invest and develop new activities in the region.
The main driving force of the market are large foreign companies that operate or enter Bulgaria. Traditionally Bulgarian companies are directed to small and medium-sized terrains and warehouses. This is normal because of the volume of their business. The location of industrial projects as well as related infrastructure and availability of labor are essential for business.

2. What are your expectations for 2017?
The revival of the economy and industrial production will continue to make Bulgaria a more attractive destination on the map of Europe. But our country must be positioned correctly. In this sense it is good to make targeted campaigns to attract investors. Given what has been said before, it is necessary to focus on staff training, which is emerging as an important factor for companies.

3. How to develop your industrial projects and what lies ahead?
One of our key projects is the "Industrial Park Markovo", which is located on the ring road of Plovdiv. Industrial areas are of different sizes and are located on a total area of 158,000 square meters with the possibility of merging and splitting, depending on the requirements of industrial investors. Now we are working on the construction of internal roads in the park, which would make it even more attractive for investors wishing to start their project immediately.
